I understand, the America was my first ship. Old timers say, your first ship becomes your   first love, well for me the America was. I served on her in 1968, the world cruse and Westpac , I was with VA85 Blackfalcons. At just 19 years old I went around the world. I put together a model of her, and starting to build models of all the aircraft that was on board in 68, VF33 F4's VF102 also F4's my  VA85 A6's VA82 A7's VA86 A7's plus the RA5C Vigilante RVAH13,and of theE2's ,A3' that will take a while.
