  • Hey Chuck,
It's good to see your mug, although I don't recognize you. I've been scanning some old pictures and uploading them when I can. Did you have any you wanted to share?
I've been thinking about getting a reunion organized when more enough people are contacted and interested. Are you interested? Let me know. Thanks -Al
  • Hey Kunk,
I received your reply today, sorry for your son. I live in California now married with 3 kids. It's been 27 years ago when i got out of active duty, i did reserves for a few years in Pennsylvania, then moved here in California. Yeah, why don't you give those phone numbers of the former VA-85 Line guys that you've got in touch with, be glad to reconnect with them. Thanks in advance, and hope you keep in touch. OK.
  • Hey Kunk, I dont know if you remember me, i'm Ben Kalu, We worked in the Line division from late 1978 to 1981, when i saw your comments, it brought some memories of these people you mentioned, you know like Burn-out Don Morris, wally lajoie, and OD Blaylock. Hope to reconnect with you guys.

  • Hey Charles,
I kind of remember you, mitch & Talbot. Did you take part in the '78 Med cruise? If you did, then I believe your picture is on page 327 of the cruise book. There's a group picture of the Line division. Do you remember a guy who's first name is Larry? I can't remember his last name. Be sure to join the VA-85 command. Maybe a reunion will happen if more people are contacted. Be sure to pass the word about NavyVets, com.
