  • yes im interested, i need help for everybody here to find steve grogan tennesse, rory o blaylock, either el monte or whittier ca(LA area), john minnis,pat gilbert, dean, wally lajoie colorado, donny(burnout)morris, micheal lentz, calos tieben, hmmm chet garnet, otto, chris zeitler boston, i have loren miller and talbots ph #'s. i put them on kalu's bio. barry lane salisbury md, some i searched for for the past 10 yrs or more i know i cant find em.
  • Thanks for the pictures Al. I don't think you remember me, but I had a chance to work with you one time as a barracks PPO, I was a none rate then and we had to stand watch together that night you were the PPO. I think at the time you were getting close to your discharge, must be around 1979. Well, nice to hear from you. Thanks Again.

Yeh it was vey tense....what in actuallity was a matter of minuter seemed like hours.....I was at Pensacola tower at the time working with the FAA during the strike...........the FAA was nice enough to give me a cassett tape of the incident and I won an international award from the FAA's Air Traffic Control Association "Merit Citation" and was nominated for the Admiral Perry's Award by he Navy........lots of good memories.........thanks again
  • I was assigned to VA-85 form Jan '73 to Mar '74, caught up with the squadron in Naples, they were 4 months into a 10 month cruise..( never had a 6 month cruise) Then swapped to RVAH-6...
  • i was on the 79-80 and the 1981 cruises, their was a larry butts from dallas, their was a barry lane, patrick gilbert, minnis, kalu, grogan, jarvis,gonzales, chet garnet, otto, dean, donny(burnout)morris, wally lajoie, rory blaylock. i did an invite to marvin proehl , lt cdr schartz, robert anderson. not sure how to contact anybody else

  • those are cool photos i especial like the j-52 turbo jet photo being put into an a-6. my photo was just found on the internet i have alot of cool photos but i havnt put them on my computer yet.
