  • I remember Rick Cearly pretty well along with clayton, bull and a few other people.Ricks hair was alot redder back then. I will post the picture later. I was with the squadron late spring of 73 to july of 76. Most of that time I worked on the line. Transfered to the powerplant shop after I sewed on the crow. And the last few months I worked in AIMD in the test cell division which was nice when we had alot of engines to test. Because we would have a 2nd shift. But our work night was only 4 hrs because we cuoldn't run engines after 8pm because of the noise. I had alot of fun back then.remember alot of things. Even most of the officers were pretty good. I didn't retire from the navy but I did retire from an Air guard unit in Milwaukee.
  • I didn't get much time with the crowd, but it was great to see guys like Al and Booby and Paisan and Rocky League.  It seems so long ago until we are standing there together talking and then it comes rushing back like it was yesterday.  Kudo's to everyone involved in setting this think up.  Robert, Al you guys did good!
  • $16.00 + shipping. Contact JD at: navairdavea6@yahoo.com
  • Bob how much are they and how do I buy one

  • Just a word to all VA85 members - JD Phipps needs to sell more of his coffee mugs. He has about 20 left which equates to about $320 out of his own pocket. I'm going to purchase another one. JD did this out of his own good heart for VA85'ers. If you don't have one, think about getting one and help him out. If you wern't at the reunion and didn't get to see them, they are really nice mugs.
