After the UNREPS, we got to eat the Lobster. That was the best food I can recall.

I was assigned to chief's mess first three months on Ranger during WestPac cruise, 1972-73. I remember a phillipino chief (Larry ???) was in commissaryman in charge. Interesting stories about what added to the menu.
