HiLindsey,you may have been on my ship in 74 as we had 350 marines on my ship the uss fort fisher lsd40 on a westpac cruise.we went to okinawa,subic,&sidney for amphib ops.were you with the marines your whole career?thanks for listening
Hey Doc,I was on the lsd Fort Fisher LSD40 from 1972 to1975 and did 2 westpacs.
Glad to be aboard. I hope someone knows of the whereabouts of an old friend of mine. While I was aboard the USS Guadalcanal LPH-7 in 1976-77 I had a weapons officer by the name of LT. Jerry McDevitt. He was an outstanding officer and a pleasure for me to serve with. If anyone can help me locate the LT. I would greatly appreciate it.
