  • Hey 'Doc'.

Thank you for your service also. At Camp Hansen I was with 1st Btn, 4th Marines, 3rd Mar Div when we got pulled back from VCB. I went to El Toro and joined the 3rd Marine Air Wing and covered 4 squadrons as well as trying to keep them all 48 hour ready with shots.  Kind of hard when most of them are just coming through for discharge. Thanks for the pictures also.  I became a Registered Nurse right after discharge and retired (disability-Agent Orange Cancer)in 2007.

You reminded me of coming through SF airport coming home and the orange gowned were not too bad, the bad dudes were the bell bottomed, flowery shirt, long hairs that spit on me.

Since you went through FMSS you must have an NEC of 8404 also. A lot of people have no idea what we do and did but it is coming out slowly.  Unfortunately some people can't even pronounce CORPSMAN and are too proud to ask. Thanks for sharing your story...
