  I would like to thank you for letting me join your page and if there are any members that were on the Spartanburg from 1978 to 1980 and they remember boatswainsmate Daniel Thomas
  I would like to let them know that he passed on the 26th of last month and I would also like to let them know that he spoke often of his time on the ship.

  Hello Doug, I was hoping to meet some fellow ship mates of my father Odis Chauncey. He was aboard from 75-77 I believe so anyway. I wasn't forturnate enough to have been raised by him, but over time I have been able to meet my family and now I hope to meet some of his friends. Thanks for the welcome.
