  • Came aboard Ranger with VAH-6, TAD to Ships Company OP DIV, Photo Lab as PH3 left six months later PH2.  Spent 6 years in the Navy, 6 months on Ranger and the last 12 years with the Ranger Foundation working to save and preserve Ranger as a Museum Ship.  We are close--have a location: Fairview, Oregon, the Navy has said if we make certain deadlines they will transfer her to us, all we need is MONEY.  About $18 million would pay for final studies, building infrastructure, pay for modifying her to meet legal requirements, and towing to her new HOME.   If you can help see www.ussranger.org  Our time is limited, we have only a couple years to do all this.
