  • good morning!!!!
  • watch the FRA magazine and American Legion as well as NERA - have had leads but can never get enough info to act on - thanks for keeping it in mind. The Person I am looking for really saved me when I first reported aboard after boot. I would have been a screwup or something had he not stepped up to the plate. Thanks Again
  • I did a two week active duty aboard the Truckee in March of 1977 as a reservist. We sailed from Norfolk to Rota, Spain through a hurricane. Quite a cruise!
  • Stephen, I recieve a publication "FRA Today" from the Fleet Reserve Association and it lists upcoming Reunions. For our members, I post notice for these events in case they are interested. In most cases, I have not served on those ships or stations.
We don't have a specific method for finding old shipmates, just a list of members, which keeps growing. Hopefully folks can find shipmates on the list or through event contact personnel.

  • Hi John - Thanks for getting back - I had seen in the past that there was a GTMO Reunion - didnt really know to much else until I ran into this link. Would love to make the trip to Branson and won't count it out but I only the other day scheduled a trip there through our timeshare for 11/16. I have been promising my wife for 3 years but complications have nixxed anything. My daughter is in Ft Smith Ark. and we will combine the Branson with a Thanksgiving there. As noted we ill see - But GTMO above all but one othet Command - is in my Heart always - just loved that place and the people there. Got a note from Bill Karr as well - will write to him too. • Stephen, maybe you would like to join us in Branson this October for the Guantanamo Bay reunion. Check us out at www.gitmobay.org. We have gotten together for the last 4 years in Chattannoga, TN; Fort Mitchell, KT; Saint Augustine, FL; and Gettysburg, PA. I hope that you decide to join us.

  • Welcome Aboard, Senior Chief!

I'm Bill Karr. My son Doug created this site and I help him out a bit. We hope that you enjoy it.

Be sure to upload an image of yourself. You can add your image on your Footlocker.

Click the Commands tab and search for your commands so that you can join them and add them to your page! This is how other shipmates will find you.

    Invite all your shipmates!

Don't hesitate to add an event or a reunion to the Events tab!

We've also started Commands for each State. Be sure to join or add your own state!

Be sure to start up a blog post or two and tell us all about your time in the Navy!
