  • Just for reference some of the comments are correct sea bags are for the Navy. However being that I was a Corpsmen assigned to the Marine Corps we had duffle bags its what we use to transport our uniforms between duty stations just like the sea bag. That saying came from the Marine Corps not the Navy.
  • I served with your husban on the Allagash. I believe that I talked with him several times

  • I don't know what is in a duffle bag. I had a sea bag and everything I owned fit in it.
  • Don't ever say you didn't serve. Navy wives serve every bit as much as their husbands.
  • Thanks Rebecca! I thought some of the ol' salts on here might be able to see better if I increased the fonts and left some more room. :)
  • A blog is more of a journal post where you'd like to tell or share a specific story. It's your journal and each post is like a chapter in the journal.

A discussion is more of a conversation - generally where you're looking for information or feedback. Hope that helps!

Be sure to join the Navy Wives command I set up!

  • New to all of this...what is the difference between a discussion & a blog? What is a blog if not a discussion? I am confused! Help....please!
  • I would be interested in finding out how I could buy a Navy Pea Coat...I remember the cold winds blowing off the coastline in New England & that was the warmest coat I ever owned. Through the years of moving , etc. it became misplaced. I miss my warm coat! It is 24 degree's & snowing in Western PA. I could sure use my Navy Pea coat about now!
