"Yes. It turned into a career that I will not forget and nerver regret. I retired an MLCS. As you know all E-8 and above MLs and PMs are MLs. I never understood that, but, I believe that I spent as many hours in the foundry as I did in the pattern…"
"Peter, that would have been PM1 Turner. He could carve really well. I remember him having a Sprite roadster with a bull dog face for a horn cap and the center console was I beleive a very nice body of a woman. Anyway, we may have been in the same…"
"Very funny Joe. I have met one other Rhea in my lifetime and it sounds like you two could be brothers. You don't have a brother by the name of Pat do you?"
Please pass on to all your military retired friends so they can be educated on how the "health care reform" will change our tricare benefits. Read article at very bottom of e-mail string for more information.…"
"Mark I was on the Lake from 77 to 83. Probably crossed paths. I was in Repair Division. Spent time in the Foundry, Patternshop, Division office and a couple years as a ship sup. Kings Bay was something else back then. We made the chiefs club out of…"

"Dan, just talked to Joe. He said great, 2 on 5 for 20 years he will be able to pay off his mortgage. His address is 253 Powderhorn Rd, St Marys GA 31547. I have his phone number, is there a way I can email you from this site? I also gave him the…"
"Another Molder that lives around me is Joe Worth. He retired an MLCS. We both made senior chief at the same time same command. It was real unusual to have two MLCS's on the same ship. Probably why my detailer called and told me it was time to leave…"
"I am new to your forum, but, reading through the past post I thought I would chime in. Sorry for bringing up some old discussions from past post, but a couple names did jump out. Wendall Holmes for one. He is living in Kingsland GA and I just talked…"
"I just got home and pulled out the cruise book. Jan-Aug 1974. Here are some names from the cruise book. You may recognize some. MLC Howard, ML2 Audette, ML3 Darland, ML2 Dawkins, MLFN Gottlob, MLFN Lund, PM3 Ramos, PM1 Read, PMFN Sparks, PM3 Walch…"
"Craig, it was probably 1974 as I think about it. But we probably did cross paths. I have a cruise book somewhere and will dig it out. I really enjoyed my tour at DATC. Did more pattern wotk there than anywhere else. We also did a fair amount on the…"
Thanks for the info on MLC Fabek. I talked to another Molder I was stationed with and he said he ran into him a few years back and said he had throat cancer. I just wondered if anyone had heard anything since then.
