I'm glad I found you. You were such a good buddy while we worked together aboard the Jason. We both lived in El Cajon and rode to work together. When we knew each other back in '78 & '79, I seem to recall you & your wife had two girls and Sue & I had one girl (Andrea) that was two years old at the time. Sue and I ended up with 5 kids, 4 girls and a boy. Of course we had four girls before we got the boy. Sue and I have been married 38 yrs now and with lots of daughters you get lots of grandchildren (11, 9 boys & 2 girls). Got lots of stories to tell, some on the Jason and some after the Jason. First piece of info in regards to the Jason is: You remember CWO2 Nava? He replaced CWO3 Laucella in like Jun 79. Nava's first name was Raleigh. He passed away here in San Diego about year ago. And of course you remember our wonderful skipper J. T. Beaver, CAPT, USN. He was pretty sure he was going to be selected for Admiral back in '79. Well, I'm happy to tell you it didn't happen. I found him in the "Blue Book" in 1993 as the Number 1 most senior Captain in the USN. I've said enough for now, hope to talk to you soon. Greg
