Hi David, Not often I see something about Orlando RTC boot. I was in Company 4 under CPO Toland. I now live in Orlando. (I did then. I thought I was headed for GLNTC but ended up about 15 miles from home.) Did you know the training center os gone? They tore it down.
Hey I hear y'all Brother...I think I post our company pics in my pics...Great to know y'all...yea I went from there to NAMI there at Mainside in Pensacola as a Research Subject for NASA...and then sent to the USS Lexington CVT-16 till I got out in '73...Flew Zero G flights and Lunar flights in KC 135 with the Air Force...
Damn it man...y'all went through boot at around about the same time...my shipmate Gerald Hargis and I went through...I also rode the train from Columbia, SC...I was raised in Newberry, SC and born in Charleston...How in the world did y'all wind up riding a train out of Columbia when y'all are from Chicago...?
