  • Steven, If you are referirng to VA Claims, MY Claim is over 5 1/2 Years and still waiting for my 100% disability

I just got a letter from VA Oakland telling me that there is another delay

VA FRESNO CA, THE PENSION EXAM DOCTOR LIED AND FALSIFIED MY MEDICAL RECORD, when I complained to VA in Oakland they did nothing and social security denied me my disability because of the report from this Pension Exam Doctor which I have slammed in all 50 States now 15 times over including Gaum

  • It always amazed me when the USSR would follow us with there fishing trawlers with all the antennas.

  • I don't know for sure.  The first thing to do is fill out the application.  Once you are enrolled in the prorgram, the medical staff that is assigned to you will answer all of your questions.

  • Thanks John.  I'm long over due with an eye exam.  Will the VA help?

  • Al, you should definitely register with the VA.  You are entitled to medical benefits that could be very important to you in the future.  I retired at age 60 with no other insurance.  The VA took extremely good care of me including cataract surgery on both eyes.  I now don't need glasses, except to read.  Prescription costs are low.  Believe me, you are eligible.

  • Michael, I didn't recall your brother-in law's name, but then again I was an airdale (working on A-6's on the flight deck during deployments).

  • Thanks Mike & John for your info.  I recall my previous efforts working with the VA long ago to claim education benefits. It was a real nightmare.  I know that there's many other vets who truly need services from the VA far more than I, so I'm sure if I were to approach them for something as small as a simple ID, my file would probably be place under the file basket rather than at the bottom of the stack.
