    I was in the Navy May 1969 to Mar. 1979. I was stationed at NAS Alameda VR -30 Fleet Logistical Support Squadron 30 Feb 1970 to Apr. 1973. Shipped over requested AMA B school and orders to NAF Sigonella OMD I and my family was there from Sept. 1973 to Oct. 1976. Then Orders to NAS Oceana AIMD Nov 1976 Until Mar.1979.Then I left the Navy for Family reasons. AMS1 Stephen King

    service dates jan '62 to apr'66. stationed on leeward point, gitmo, during the Cuban missle crisis '62 to '63. was part of NEGDF and manned a B.A.R. on the fence during the crisis.

Cold War Service Medal-2015

On April 28. 2015 Congressman Steve Israel(D NY-3); as he has for the last several years, along with Congressman David Jolly (R-FL 13) and seven other cosponsors introduce H.R. 2067 The Cold War Service Medal Act 2015.
