  Thanks Billy for you're post. It might well be the " Little Beaurocrats... but this fact is known many Veterans who have disabilities from the Military are being screwed out of benefits that they are entitled to.

  And I personally know for a fact that I have been lied to by VA representatives who talked to me on those 1-800-827-1000 numbers.

  Have not worked for over two years now because of my back from a fall I had in the Navy where I fell 15 feet from the Signal Bridge to the bridge, when through Physical Therapy in the navy and two times since then out of the navy after I retired in 1998.

  VA keeps sending and asking for the same Medical Records and my AMVETS Rep keeps sending them the documents they need and they go around and around with the same exams every 6 or 8 months and then they deny me while my Doctors say one thing, VA says something else

  Like my hearing for example. I have hearing aids and my hearing has got worst, and it's documented too but VA keeps denying me increased rating.

  Almost as bad as Social Security Disability which I have been fighting to get now for over two years but that's another story for another time

  we all at some time or another have gotten behind in our tasked assigned to us but we never would ! pass the buck, I say for the back log of Claims not accomplished by Our VA, it's a leadership problem, I strongly believe that its the LITTLE beaurocrats this is the problem i.e., people who have positions until they DIE, which mean they don't fear being termed or fired! thus continuing to do Poor  work at their on pace or even posting work for a later date, I don't believe that its the White house or anyone in it at this point, Like smoke screen they must clear some day,,

  Thanks John and I need to clarify YOU ARE CORRECT.... VA Hospitals do a GREAT JOB for Veterans,, VA Hospital Here in Fresno, CA is WONDERFUL..

  My " Beef" is with VA Administration in Oakland.. Those who review the Veterans Medical Records and decide what Rating they get for Disability.. Over 680,000 Veterans are waiting and it is so back logged that it should be a crime

  I agree that it is a problem that our military is cow-towing to Obama's wishes.  The current administration has no regard for God.  However, in my opinion, the VA here in Pennsylvania is doing a real good job.

  Cold War Navy Veterans

  Look at what's happening in Washington. The Navy I knew when I was in has changed. Now Navy Chaplain's are being kicked out because they Pray in Jesus name

  Veterans who served in the Cold War, who have disabilities, The Veterans Administration, (Oakland, CA) not only is the worst, but on appeal, I have been waiting since 2009. I'm not working, I have been to Physical Therapy three times for my back and my VA Medical Records weigh 85 pounds.

  VA loves to play the game of around and round we go ...and over and over again.... I was wondering... any others out there in the same mess?

  and when I have talked to VA on the phone, I have caught them rightout lying to me.

  We had the IRS targeting Tea Party and 9-12 Groups.... Is it not possible that VA just might be targeting the same Groups but those who are Veterans too? Just wondering and yes I am a member of both of those groups
