Just jumped onboard. I was stationed at CSTSC twice. FIrst was in 1973-1974 going to A and C schools (NTDS Computer/Perip) and the from 1978-1980 as an A school instruction (1218 phase).

FTM3 John Kilburn. I attended Talos "C" school as a push button third class P.O. Class DD7402. Remember getting an "outstanding" award at base wide dress inspection. Reported for "award", found it to be standing watch in cripto building...LOL. Were only 5 of us in the class, one went AWOL after visiting Vallejo church never to return. Island now all condos.... Enjoy the grad picture, I'm the standing third class...outstanding sailor, huh?

Crypto School

OK,someone help me out !! I attended "Crypto Repair School" on Mare Island, way back in 1964.Actually 2 of them,1544 and 1547 (KW7 & KWR37).Yes, they were puttting some of us ETRs through there to help out the ETNs that usually did the repairs. My class attended the night class sessions (turned out to be OK as we got out at 12 midnight and didn't have to be back for school until 4PM) Anyway back to the help part ! I keep seeing all these letters designating several rates and all the different…
