I would like to know when the next reunion will be. I was with 85 1967 to 1971
in 1968 on the USS America, 1969-70 on the USS Constellation and 1971 on
the USS Forrestal I have made models of the A6'S for all three ships with the
markings for those ships. I trying to get those pics on my page, my grandson
going to help me because I am BC{before computer}. Also I made models of all the
aircraft of CVW-6 on the America 1968 , F4J's A7A's ,A6 RA5C E2C and two
A3's. The next and last is the C1{Miss America}
If anyone has some pics of Rat (Jim DeLucia), his son would appreciate a copy. Unfortunately he wasn't able to acquire pictures of his late father because much of Jim's personal belongings were lost.
In my never ending search for former shipmates, I just learned that Jim DeLucia, aka Rat, passed away on December 27, 2013. Rat was a good person who was always willing to lend a hand and help you out if he could. Rat dedicated his skills to the Line division and the Powerplants shop. Those who knew Rat, knew a damn fine mech. RIP Rat.
