  • Are talking about the place where a snake almost strangled the "performer"?
  • So how did Harv get to know all these fine establishments? He led me & BB to some fine place in Jax Beach. Anyone remember the bar that was located on a corner? I think it had some sea theme and was a white building with red swirly designs on it and perhaps a mural.
  • Al, not sure if this is the same matues rose drink a thon or not. I remember going to the club in Rota, winning money on the slots and having a real nice steak dinner with the proceeds.
  • Gee, I sort of remember a pretty nice steak place. I think it was in Naples. It seemed we were in a basement of some sort. We must have drank about 4 or 5 bottles of Matues Rose. Or was it Rota? Maybe I'm all twisted. Was that the Black Angus?
  • oh yeah there was some hard rockin' going on in there...the bar in Naples was called Boston Blackie if not mistaken it could be described as a "Black Angus" on the European front...thanks to you guys the names are coming back and so are many memories...i guess the old adage is right many heads is better than one...
  • I guess it depended what kind of condition you were in whether they were steaks or tacos...I couldn't remeber that name.."The Black Angus"...I guess it does sound like a 4 star resteraunt...
  • You must be talking about the family steak house.
  • I remember when harv took me to the nice family place called the black angus in Rosie Roads
  • Rittenhouse AO lives somewhere here in maine. I have bumped into him several times in the Exchange. He was stationed at Nas Brunswick also
  • I also ran into Mcdade in Sigonella. We were passing through and picking up a passenger going home on emergency leave. He was at stationed at Sigonella AIMD
