To Doc Hunt, the men with the black and white ropes were from Service School Command. They were in charge of classes going through various schools on base.
The guy asked "do you need this?" I did not know what "this was" or where I was. I just repeated name rank serial number, and said reported as" ordered sir." what happened next along with perhaps 20 other guys is well burned in memory. At the end, I was told "Do you know why we are doing this?" I replyed "No, Sir!" He repied " Because you are a Hospital Corpsman!" "
Stand your watch!' They had continued through several shift rotataions in the process. Black and white agulettes...huh..
Listen I have a question. Who were the men with the black and white agulettes across the bridge with the bad attitudes in the Winter Spring of 76-77? They were not forgetable.
I served along side the Royal Saudis with Company 006 in the winter and sping of 76- 77. It was a tough and wet experience... The Saudis were one of my best memories. I spent a lot of time talking with them when to brought to attention by CC Georgiani. I would like to hear from anyone who was there. G Hunt.. At first I had a grafic nick name, but became "Doc". as hospital Corps was to by my MOS.
Stationed Nov. 66 to Feb 67. Started in Co. 684, went to Bluejacket Choir Co. 4007 5th week.
Great. It is always good to hear that things turned out well for everyone concerned. Thanks for serving 25 years.
Yes LT, I remember the accusations but do not want to talk about it. I do remember Chief Chavez.
I did my last tour in the Navy at RTC. Got there in 1972 and retired in 1975. I thought it was pretty good duty. Between companies my hold job was testing.
