I was a RCC (Recruit Company Commander) from April '83 to April '86. Began my tour as a MMCS(SW) and left to become the CMDCM of the USS Bagley. I later returned in Oct '90 as the last CMDCM of RTC San Diego. I did lead one company upon arriving in '90. In the 80's I was the Division 3 Adjutant then I moved to the Recruit Affairs Office after I made Master Chief in '85.
What year(s) were you there's a CC?
Larry P. I remember that training group. That was my last company before I left RTC to go to the USS Bagley FF1069 as the Command Master Chief. That was a pretty good training group. I lead only one more Company after that and that was when I returned to be the Command Master Chief in October '90.
Hey Ski... I remember you!! I was in Divison 5, Company 005. Our CC was BTC Fisher. You were the CC of one of the other companies in our division. Maybe 007?

Correction to my last comment. Captain French was the CO or RTC San Diego during my first tour as a Recruit Company Commander. As the leading chief in Recruit Affairs Office I had the pleasure of introducing him on Thursday nights when the parents got together in the auditorium prior to meeting their recruits.
