  • I agree Jerry, been through some hard times, but still here because of HIM..

    God Bless

  • You know  Everyone, we are all here because we served and many of us tell others thanks for your service to America. Well Daniel and Bill time does fly by fast and we wonder where it all went.

We work hard all our life and retire and many of us shortly there after get sick and life is over and we wonder if it was worth it all. I learned one thing in life and it can be summed up in a few words. Many may not share what I am about to say but to me it is life and it makes it worth it all.

It was not always that way in the Navy and I learned some very hard lessons and many things I wish never happened. But what I learned is this and it is the most rewarding to me if I stay focused on it.

WHAT DID I WANT TO SAY?

" ONLY WHAT'S DONE FOR CHRIST WILL LAST, life is a vapor that goes away as fast as it comes. My Pastor asked us to try and collect Central Valley CA Fog in a Jar. hahahahah It can't be done! So also spinning our wheels in life with out the one who created life is worthless.

I have never gone hungry and I have always had a roof over my head and when I needed help he answered prayer.

THANKS EVERYONE FOR YOUR SERVICE, THIS OLD SALT WAS JUST DOING A LITTLE REFLECTING. Thanks for letting me!

  • Oh yes. What is the yellow arrow pointing to in the second picture.

  • In the first picture you can see bay across from Nimitz on the top of the picture. I always remember hearing drag boats racing over there. Couldn't see any thing of course but I knew what they were.
