I remember hanging upside down after 80 at sea in the Tonkin gulf from a Pneumatic tube when the captain walked in... comment from Captain Casper, guess it is time to hit port soon... yes I was at attention upside down.
Remember those deployments? Here's a funny video
Damn, it still looks the same. I see the laundry drying station where I passed out with the flu just after the flu shot.. Of course it was a cold rainy night. Spent 3 days in sick bay with a 103 fever, then went to see a shrink who said I was just home sick. Ah yea, those were the days..

The family of God is the biggest family and if you know him, we are all brothers and that includes those sisters out there too!
God Bless you all!
I do not know about the rest of you but I was a late bloomer. I did not begin to grow up until I was saved at 39. I am still growing at 68. If I could go back, which I have never wanted to do, I would like to beg forgiveness from all the people I made their life more than difficult, especially while in the Navy. What a fool I was but what a glorious God we have. If you know him or not, he knows you and loves you. This is still the greatest country in the world and we were priviledged to serve it even if I did not realize it then. One Nation Under "God". God bless you all.
Thank God for everybody who believes in God, for in today's world, it seems that we are the majority who get the minority attention. I hope some changes come down the pike soon, or our children, grandchildren, and great grand kids are looking at a very bleak future!
