  • Company 260 (1984-85). Would like to hear how everyone else is doing after so many years.
  • Company 918 April 1980
  • Graduated Dec.'60 Company 60-494, CC was William T. Campbell, BTC
  • After boot, I did my BEE schooling, before being shipped off to Great Lakes (1979-1980). I threw out all my standard enlisted uniforms and replaced them with "Cracker Jacks". Shared a barraks room with 4 other sailors who showed me the value of an oversize boom-box and Bob Seger (anyone recall a guy named Gilligan?)... Good times.
  • Went to a two week reserve boot camp in December of 1970 in San Diego.
  • Went to Boot Camp in 1956 and also went to Radioman School there. Purchased my first pair of gabardine dress blues out in town. Loved the weather and was very glad I had not ended up at Great Lakes!
  • Went to boot camp there. What crazy weather! I was there October - December 1968.........we would be shivering in the cold in the morning while in formation to go to breakfast and by lunchtime would be sweating and sometimes down to t-shirts it was so hot! Leaving boot camp, we had the pleasure of trying to get flights out during the week before Christmas. Oh what fun. Went through LA Airport and got spat on by protestors of the Vietnam War. I was in boot camp during the Tet Offensive. I'll always remember that.
  • Boot camp Mar '72 - Jul '72 then on to basic electricity & electronics school. I love San Diego!

Unfortunately, I do not remember anyone else. Though I do believe there was on other individual named Ace Goodman. I could be wrong.
