I remember our vets every single day! With the passage of time, we lose our shipmates. A couple of weeks ago I was doing my welcome aboard thing and there was the name of Stephen Stouch, we served together on the Truxtun. In an exchange of e mails I was told that Greg died a few years ago in an explosion. I have reached out to other ship mates and have had no response. Makes me kind of wonder, they want nothing to do with me or are they no longer of this earth!
The body does not live forever, as long as they are remembered as a shipmate that is what counts!
