"Could have been me, I always had problems with that and after I got and worked as a cop my Sergeant and shiftmates called me Garvey Aye becausue I still used aye aye the wrong way when answering.
Such memories - funny now but horrible back then."

I may have been at your stand tall, DP1 Silva, female type. If I am not mistaken, didnt CPO McDaniel instruct you to say thats affirmative rather than aye aye? I remember a CC chewing one of his boots out for saying that and Chief Mac stood up for him. I

I knew 2 of your shipmates onboard from 1985-1988/89. They are friends of mine from PA. Names are Greg Weaver and T.A. Miller. I was on the USS Prairie AD-15 across the water from you on Pier 15 on the Mole. Greg and T.A. took me onboard and showed me around when the "MO" was being recommissioned.
