"Yes, as far as I understand it. I EOAS'd as the final changes were taking place. There was a lot of dissent in the ranks on both sides (DT and HM) on how badly this would effect advancement (Corpsman were at 102% manning) at the time."
"DT's were absorbed into the HM rating in 2005. They're all Corpsmen now. They can still go thru all of the dental training, keep the same jobs, but they all go thru NavHospCorpSchool now."
