I hardly remember any of the boots I was with then. You name seem familiar but cannot put a face to it.. Just for grins, here is what I did when in the Navy, went to Radioman school, then to the USS Annapolis where I was lent/rented/ordered out to work with the Marines during the Tet. After a year there, I got my choice and I went to teletype school in San Diego. After that went to the Hornet as the TTY guy. Thought great no more in country.. but not so, went to several places in country to repair tty, mostly Cam Ranh Bay. After that 7 month tour, we prepared for Apollo 11 and 12.. Now that was fun. Then we decommissioned the Hornet and my next duty station was going to be at the Delta, so I left the Navy with an Honorable discharge and two years reserve. Looking back, I know I was lucky a lot and now live on an Island (Maui).. Hope you service time was as good
