There are places on line that sell medals and ribbons. I earned a Humanitarian Service medal and ribbon and it wasn't issued to me while I was in the Navy. I bought it on line. Only cost about twelve bucks or so. They have all kinds of military medals, ribbons and badges, along with shoulder patches and rate/rank stripes, etc.
My Shadow box that was given to me by NROTC HAMPTON ROADS upon my retirement in Mar 94. They were not able to find 3 Medals that should have been included, Vietnam Service, Kuwait Liberation Kuwait, and .45 Pistol Medal (Sharpshooter).
