My Black Powder Rifle.

In 1972, I saw this kit in a shop in California. I could not get it then. I found the kit and bought it at a gun show here in Alaska and it was 99% un-worked on and was a complete kit, so I bought it and built it. It is a CVA "Mountain Rifle", .50 cal, and it is a rough copy of the Samuel Hawken design. It is a good shooting rifle and I use 370 grain conicals cast from a Lyman mould.
