Hey Robert, They were remote controlled helo's. I worked with thew dash program on San Clemente Island in 67. We had "snoopy" gear that was being tried out(night vision) camera.
It is a drone anti submarine helicopter " DASH " Dash school was at Damneck , VA. It carried a torpedo to drop on submarines . I heard my ship USS Norris used it for dropping gasoline bombs on Vietnam Nam
