The Stock mold (We only made one stock, the second one was made in the Shipfitter shop out of plate steel.) Is seen here opened up and ML-2 Stephen Parker is getting ready to pull the pattern and cut in the gates and risers before the mold is closed and metal poured in. Those round things are carbon chills to help cool the metal.
