  • Jerry, you have a good site, but not a lot of participation.  We have a whole new generation, many who are actually serving in the armed forces today, who couldn't tell you anything about the Cold War.  Many were born after the collapse of the Soviet Union.  My 12 year old boy came home from school and said that he learned that the Cold War was a war where no shots were fired and nobody was hurt.   Natuarally, I made him look up the Cold War on his laptop and research his misunderstanding.

I will certainly write, call and email my congressional delegation and ask them to support the House and Senate bills that would grant us a Cold War Medal, National Defense Medal, and the change of record that would come with it.  I urge others to do the same.
