"Someone sent me a recording of the BJC singing, and I have since gotten a new PC and can't find that music. Does anyone have such a recording? I was a member Feb 67 to May 67."
"Hey, Rigg! I was with you on the Cora Sea. I was a journalist at AFRTS during your stay, ran the TV station. Good to see you're alive and kicking! What a leader was Captain Ferris, huh? "
"I was with the BJC San Diego NTC March 1967. The Company Commander, a Senior Chief at the time, was a real hellion, tougher than my regular company commander was. I thought I'd won the lottery by getting in, only to find it tougher!Any videos from…"
"I was stationed there May '67 to May of '68, worked at the local Armed Forces Radio & TV outlet. Food was outstanding always, and my time was filled with activities, from bowling to scuba diving -- really busy!"

I was in the BJC in early 1967. I have a group picture, of the choir taken, in March '67. The CO's were D.D. Helm QMC, also G.T. Dunn RD1, and R.P. Savelle BM1. My training group, in the choir, was Division 6 Grad. Class. A week after I graduated, the Choir sang the National Anthem, at San Diego Padre's Opening day Game. While I was, in the Choir, we sang, at the Seabee's 25th Anniversary Celebration.
Having been in the BJC just ahead of you, we probably had the same CO's. We had a Chief by the name of Helm. I still remember he was from the reserves out of Hawaii. A real cracker he was. He was a hellion I remember from BJC. We also had 2 First Class PO's, One of them had been a 4050 Commander. I don't remember the First Class names.
