  • Naymond Fontenot?  No recall.

  • Randall, was talking to Joseph.  Sorry, I'll introduce you to Randy if you're a good boy.

  • The second time at Orlando, I worked in two places, one in the Outpatient Department, Dependent sick call in the outpatient/ER building. Logged in dependents and took vitals, performed EKG's and even worked the appointment desk upstairs, then at the Recruit Dispensary, Medical Records section.  I hung out with two guys there, HM2 Larry Brown and HM3 Frank ? we three stayed in trouble with the Master Chief (cant remember his name - had killer grey-blue eyes you didn't want on you).  Always threatening us with the Jax brig and breaking rocks for looking at the female recruits.  Both Larry and Frank were Vietnam vets, both had been prior Army.  Larry said he had been a door gunner in a Dust-off in Vietnam, Frank I believe was a grunt. Always talking about his M-79 Blooper. When I retired at Camp Lejeune in 1995, Larry was there as a Senior Chief at the Division Surgeon's Office for 2nd MARDIV.  Frank I didn't ever see again after Orlando.  At the Dispensary, I remember two docs, Dr. Evilio DeOyos (resembled Che Guevara), and Dr. Valdez.  Doc V and I did a stint in Okinawa at the Dispensary at Camp Hansen 1980-81. Anybody remember them days, and those guys? Maybe a Female HM, Suzy Fox?

  • Sorry David, I don't recognize that name.
    One for you, Naymond Fontenot.

  • Robert Spindle?  Randy Bruns?

  • I always said shore commands needed year books. 39 years later, names are familiar but can't place them. I can see that hospital clear as anything, but can't put a name to a face to save me.
  • Remember HM? Katheryn DalPian

  • Its a pain being old, I remember the name Dennis Skinner. Need pics. I wasn't ever the senior on ward 12, but was there 1971 to 73? LCDR Lockwood was our head nurse. I left there & went to hospital transportation. 74 transferred to FMSS at Pendleton and on to Battery A, 1/12, Kaneohe, HI. Was back at Orl. 1976 - 1979.
  • Corpsman.   Sheesh.  I'll get it right somehow.
