  Was on board (shore command) the Naval Education and Training Center in 1973/74 as it transitioned from Naval Station Newport to NETC, under the command of Howard N.Kay, Captain, USN. Plank owner NETC, NPT, RI.

  I am a plank owner of the U.S.S. . Holland  AS-32 which we put in commission on Sept. 7, 1963 at Charleston South Carolina.

  I was a member of the 1982 recommissioning crew of the Battle Ship USS New Jersey BB-62.  We were the first of the 4 Iowa Class Battleships placed back in commission during President Regan's administration.

  and a note for all Battleship New Jersey sailors out there; there is now a USS New Jersey group to join.

  I was also decommissioning crew for the USS Vancouver LPD-2.
