  Given a little more time the term "common sense" will be removed by the "noisy minority"! Because, it is not common in their opinion!

  Read the article,and couldn't agree more with Lehman.Also,I feel the complainers about such going ons in the military are the same ones who laugh about on tv shows.

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

   

  I agree with Lehman.Got my new issue of Navy Times yesterday.In it there is a story about homosexuals.Front page says 'We're here.get over it".Why should WE have to get over it?Also,Tuesday on the internet news there was a navy lt. with 'his' partner getting married.and today I see there's a you tube of a child telling his Father he's gay.'Hear the touching story.'the bottom line says.God in heaven,what has become military.(Sorry,I need to go take my seizure meds)

  For some reason I haven't been able to log on.I also have the Carrier doc.and my wife was asking if that how shipboard life was.Take away the women and the crybabies and the one who even admitted he didn't know what his job was,and yeah,it is like that.I've ordered The Fighting Sullivans from half.com Considering their ship's namesake can't hit the side of a barn(in this case a good thing)the brothers are proably spinning in their graves.

  That PBS series "Carrier" was okay. The problem with it was they were more interested in the girlfriend at home problems! It seemed edited to deliver a subtle message! I noticed there weren't any Chief's followed! Hmmm

  The "Neversail"??? Nooo! Maybe for some shots! I was thinkin, as was Rich, something more like a Destroyer Escort! Especially since I happen to know where there is one that is restored to the period and has working guns!

  There was a documentary made a few years ago called CARRIER. It followed the daily lives of a few of the crew (1 or 2 pilots and a couple of enlisted) during a deployment. It wasn't too bad. I wish they would have done the same for a tin can sailor.

  Since we are on the movie thing, since Spielberg and Hanks made a movie about the Army (Band of Brothers) and the Marines (Pacific) I think it's time for them to make a movie about the Navy. It should follow the experiences of the crew of a particular ship. I even have a ship for them to use!
