  • I was worked thru the Human Drydock known as CAAC Level-III in April '87 by several counselors .. kudos to Chief Gaurduno, and my two mentors Gary and Lisa.  They got me straightened out enough to save my career and life .. and I'm still going strong.  I'm deeply grateful for the guidance and training I got here.

  • I worked in L&D from 1984-1986, then moved to the pediatric clinic. I LOVED Japan, and feel very blessed to be staioned there. Took me 3 times to get to the top of Mt. Fuji, but I was determined to conquer it. Seeing the picture brings back memories.
  • I worked in L&D Dec'74 to Dec'75 then went to the dispensary in Yokohama till Dec '76. I LOVED my time in Japan and was really disappointed when they extended overseas tours to three years after I came back stateside. One good thing - I made 3rd (after the one year rate freeze) before I left, so worked really hard to make that 2500 pound limit!!
  • I was a "MS" stationed at the USNH Okinawa, Japan. I worked in the BQ's, the Galley, and the Nutrition Clinic. Jim Slayton
