Naval Base Subic Bay was the lower part of the base that was connected to U.S. Naval Air Station Cubi Point and abutting the Bataan Peninsula in the Philippines.

    Yes: that's my band when we were on the Hector-AR-7. Me and Booby Kiesel were 2 pretty good blues guitarist. Playing Freebird by L. Skynard though (here)!! Picture is from Feb. 1979 during 2nd Wes Pac!

I'm doing some research and would appreciate feedback from those who were station dito at Cubi or SRF in 1990-91. What is in Subic and Angeles now.

I am living in Angeles City and have lived here for about 7 years.There have been many many changes BUT... It's still the same Philippines.Have not been down to Olongapo for about a year.The base is still recognizable as a former U.S. Base but it has been its all commercial now.I even have a friend of mine on the base.
