Naval Base Subic Bay was the lower part of the base that was connected to U.S. Naval Air Station Cubi Point and abutting the Bataan Peninsula in the Philippines.

  • USS Midway pulled in there all the time from 1985 to 1989 and then I was stationed there from 1989 to 1992 as part of security.

  • Regretably I do not use the website as much as I should. But, I have never had the problem of it being down when I wanted to access Naval Base Subic Bay. I hope what ever problems you are having are rectified soon.

Subic/Olongapo 1990-91

I'm doing some research and would appreciate feedback from those who were station dito at Cubi or SRF in 1990-91. Personally, I was there in the early 80's so much of my recollection is irrelevant for what I am looking for.  1. Bars and hotelsWhat memorable bars and hotels were around at that time? What is in Subic and Angeles now.

I am living in Angeles City and have lived here for about 7 years.There have been many many changes BUT... It's still the same Philippines.Have not been down to Olongapo for about a year.The base is still recognizable as a former U.S. Base but it has been its all commercial now.I even have a friend of mine on the base.
