Does anybody no somebody that was stationed at the Naval Hospital Beaufort South Carolina during the early 70`s?
Probably about as many times as I was called that!
Do you know how many times I was called a "Squid" by some ungratefull marine?
Spent 25 wonderful months(April 1971 to May 1973) at the Naval Hospital Beaufort South Carolina. Those people down there do not know the Civil War is over and that they lost.
Christmas '76 I was at NRMC Charleston doing on OJT for Pharmacy Tech. Spent Christmas day on the Folley Beach with my then wife; Heminokee and his wife.
Anthony,
I was an HM2 OR Tech on board USS Long Beach and spent a few weeks in Subic around Christmas 1976. Talked my doc into letting me go up to the hospital to scrub an inguinal hernia. Were you there then?
I'd love to go, but I'm stuck here in Afghanistan 'til at least November
Any of you HMs going to be at the reunion in San Antonio, TX next week?
