  • I've been a part of this site almost since it started but don't get much time to get here.

I grew up on Long Island, NY but ended up in Mass for college. I was in the reserves at the time and switched units from Freeport, NY to Quincy, Ma.

Went on active duty just before my senior year in college. After getting out returned to college, grad. school and met my wife (a Roslindale girl). Been married for 38 years.

  • I grew up in Holyoke, MA and married a girl from Southampton, MA she and I will be married 42 years the end of Dec.
  • Grew up in Southampton, MA.  Enlisted Oct. 1983 through MEPS Springfield and off to San Diego I went for a journey of a lifetime..
  • Born in Boston, lived in Arlington, Framingham and Norfolk. Went in by way of AFEES in Southy. Of all places, after being on the west coast wound up stationed at Chelsea Naval Hospital! I became the "go to guy" for where the best clubs and night spots were!
  • Honored to join this group. I hail from Dorchester, MA, where I enlisted in Sept.1965. Completed 8 deployments to Viet Nam followed by 16 years of broken service. Then rejoined as a reservist until 1995 when I went active reserve until I retired in 2007 completing a total of 26 years service. Currently reside in North Easton, MA with my wife Carol. Look forward to hearing from my shipmates soon.

  • Hi all, I'm a native of Framingham, MA, enlisted Nov. 1980. Went through basic training at RTC Orlando. Following basic, I attended RP "A" at Keesler AFB, MS. The Navy RP rating was new back then and the only training available was through the Air Force. My first duty station was MCB Butler, Okinawa, 1981-1983, the second Navy RP assigned ever joining RP1 Jeanett Rice. From there I served 3 years at NTC Orlando 1983-86. Honorably discharged (E-5) April 16, 1986. I'll upload a pic soon. Would love to hear from fellow shipmates...Kris
