    I was on the Okie Boat from Nov 71 to 73. Great duty. Best ship I was ever on.

    The Okie Boat was a fine old ship.  I was 7th FLT FLG ALW from July 69 to Oct 70, CYN3 in the CR Div.  Had lots of good friends on board.  If any of you don't know there is an excellent web site dedicated to the Oklahoma City, ussokcity.com with easy ways to find former shipmates and information about the Oklahoma City Association and annual reunions.  The next one is in Reno, NV in late September.  Worth checking out.
