active duyt from sept 1976-sept 1996 as A BT.Retired as a BT! my fault but I don't cry in my milk I always agreed with work and play hard much like most of us dinosaurs unlike our politically correct navy is now.Spent tours at ntc great lakes 2 tours on the uss Nashville also on the uss coral sea and 2 tours at sima Norfolk on the uss Belknap and finally the uss Yellowstone. Iam on tricare prime to young for tricare for life myself & wife unless you all know something i don't i think it's 65.

Darrell Allen i didn't get that letter cause iam not more then 40 miles to the nearest v.a. hosp or base but yes if your 40 miles away they are taken u off i know it suck's trust me iam in s.c. and a member of alot of military group's in my area and were all complaining about it seems like the v.f.w. has a stronger voice in d.c. and yes write your senator's congress man u have a voice good luck.
