    I was stationed at NAS Atlanta RAIMD Airframes Division with Chief Hargis when he was the division Chief from 1984 to 1987. I was the W/C 500 supervisor. Some of the best people I ever served with! We had a great division! Sad to see NAS Atlanta close! Great talking with you again Chief! Hope we can track down more of the old crew!

    hey doug    i guess this is your website huh great place ya got. met a boot camp buddie :blue eagle: here not bad since that was 40 years back. i ran raimd airframes in the late 80's . is nas still up and runing? most places i've been went by the wayside. atlanta was big on the ironman stuff when i was there. i flew the ig team in there once when i flew for flag ops. they were met a the plane by folks in running gear didn't go over to well needless to say. have a great navy day.... jerry

I was part of NAS Atlanta, put was stationed actually at the Navy and Marine Corp Reserve Center on 10th Street in Atlanta in the middle of Georgia Tech.  Cant seem to find it in any searches that I that I do. Like it just disappeared.  Any ideas?
