  • Brian thanks for finding Joe. Just got off the phone with him. Maybe we can fill up this command with airframes guys.

  • I was assigned to various Reserve units at NAS from '96 until 2006 when I deployed with Inshore Boat Unit 27. I retired as a Senior Chief in April '13.

  • Thanks Brian. Would have never signed up if it wasn't for Jerry. Hope all is well with you and your family. I retired in Nov 99. Seems like yesterday. Only did 22years and 5 days, should have stayed till 30. Teaching over at Chattahoochee Tech as HVAC Instructor. Have over 200 students and it gets pretty hectic. I have my own HVAC business Also called "CHIEF'S HEATING & AIR". Gonna get pretty busy this Spring. Hopefully, all of the founded can get together soon! Hope you have a great NewYear also.

  • Welcome aboard Curt! Glad Jerry found you! I knew a lot of other Chiefs at Willow Grove and knew that you were a detailer and had made Senior, and then Master Chief. No surprize, you were an outstanding Sailor! We sure did have a great shop and division! Wish I could have gotten to know you better! Hope you have a blessed new year!

  • Stationed at NAS Atlanta from Dec 86-June 90. Airframes. Chief Hargis was the Division Chief and we had a outstanding shop. Best bunch of people I had worked with in my Naval career. Left in 90 to become AM,AS,PR detailer from June 90-June 92. Arrived at NAS Cecil Field as Division Chief for VFA-203. Became Maintenance Senior Chief after 3 attempts then Master Chief 1st time. Moved VFA-203 up to NAS Atlanta stayed there for a year and became AIMD Senior Enlisted Advisor and Command Master Chief. Had a great career and always think of the good times we had.
