Anyone out there from Unit 3033Mar - May1978 or NAVET Training 1982?
I think you were in company 3004, I was in company3014 from 29 Aug - 31 Oct 1975.
Anyone from female company 3033 Mar-May 1978?
Joined in 1076, part of Company 320, Man what a wake up call. I got only 1 demerit during the whole time in boot camp and that was for not having my sheet folded back correctly. It's odd how that's a memory I will never forget.
Anyone from female Company 3204 (I think) FEB-April 1975?
@Esther Lovell yes I do remember Hispanolla Williams could run like the wind. She should have tried out for the Olympics. K122 1980.
First in first out. Co 004, Oct. 1968-Dec1968, MMC Toland. Anyone in Co001-005 First graduating classes please contact.
If I can make one suggestion to the members, when you make a statement about your company/training unit, please remember to add the months & year you are referencing also. Remember, for the most part, company/training unit numbers were re-used every fiscal year.
Also, remember to look on Facebook, there are three large RTC Orlando groups on Facebook.
I'm still looking for Company 422, TM1 Ernie Goodwin, Jan-Mar, 1975.
I was at boot camp in Orlando from 30 Apr 1975 until 3 Jul 1975. I think it was Company 485 with MM1 Rogers as our Company Commander. Looking for any shipmates that were there during that time. I had a great 20-year career on submarines and got to see and do many exciting things. Still have at least one boot camp buddy I keep in contact with.
@Julie Allen,
You forgot to mention that Hispaniola Williams could run like the wind.
So we won the Cheerios flag as well. Not sure where I got this picture. I think Red Ramsey (K122 Yeoman) gave me a copy during BE&E NTC Orlando.K122.jpg
