  • I hope you all had a Merry Christmas. Stay safe for the rest of the holidays.
  • Same here. It says the server is not responding.
  • Jose,
Clinked on the link to the website and am being told that it is a bad link.
  • USS Holland AS-32 Shipmate , I ask of you all who read this to sign our guest book on the USS Holland AS-32 website, www.ussholland.org. From time to time we will be e-mailing you all information on updates on the Holland and also about the site. The Holland Association are currently building a Data base on those who have signed the guest book, just for the purpose of the association and its fellow crewmembers use only. We do have a contact list that is over 900 crewmembers, but as you know time to time people move or have sailed on to the eternal sunset and we are currently verifying those if they are current. Once this is completed, any one that has signed the Deck Log will be notified and you can start making contact with those former crewmembers of your era on the Holland. We will be posting this on the website.

  • I was there about a month between the Simon Lake and the Holland. I drank a lot of rum while I was there. There was a dance club in the next town that sold the rum cheaper than the coke you mixed with it. A couple of my friends and I had motorcycles we rode all over the place.
  • He liked his time in Rota. Drank alot of St. Paulie Girl beer there.
  • I must have missed him. I came on board about a week before she left Rota and went to Charleston.
  • He was Discharged before the ship left Spain.
  • Did he transfer off when the ship left Spain?

Hello from silverwood mi. I came to the Holland June of 84, worked in shipfitters shop for awhile then went to carpenter shop & worked with Al Venn & Keith Rice. I was a HT3. Lots of good times & bad but it was still a life long pleasure.
