  • How many of you remember Clancy's on E. Little Creek Road ?

  • My ships spent a total of 7 years at Norfolk and as far as I'm concurned, that was 7 years to long. Remember, "Keep all dogs and sailors off the GRASS"
  • Was stationed in Norfolk late '93 on the Shenandoah. Don't remember which pier, but I do remember the ice.
  • I remember NSN as the place to stay out of trouble at.The base police were always arround. I spent a couple of years at D&S Piers and I enjoyed everything that I can remember of it.

  • In 1968 I was taking my first exit physical... Went over to the Hospital in Little Creek... A 2nd class Corpsman walked up behind me & said
    " Can you hear me?"... I said "Yes I can"... His reply was " You just passed your hearing test !" Just wondering did any out there have that same type of exam... IF yes please let me know...

    through Norfolk :-) Did you ever have an opportunity to ride the "Calltle Cars" back to the docks while stationed there ? That was one Navy Treat I'll never forget...

  • HI DOUG ,I RETIRED FROM PORT SERVICES AND YTB 800,ON DEC 5 1997.AT THE TIME I WAS CHIEF ENGINEER ON THE TUG.I HAD SOME GOOD TIMES ON THAT BOAT AN A DAM GGOD CREW.NOW I UNDERSTANDTHAT CIVILEN BOATS GET THE SHIPS UNDERWAY..
  • I spent my last tour here. I opened up constellation Hall after it was renovated then took over the CPO Barracks in Hightower Hall and ran it until they renovated another Barracks and moved them there. For my last 6 months I worked in The Billeting Warehouse.
